Join local wholehearted florist, Amy Bunge of Hare & Bear Co for a morning of floral arranging and plant lore with Chakra’s resident horticulturist & Director of Healing + Design, Drew Dinges. Guests of Wild & Weedy will learn the basics of ephemeral floral arranging, noting the importance of 'Wholehearted Floristry⁠' - an exploration of bringing people together over simple things that spark joy & connection. It's an approach that embraces seasonality, thoughtfulness, & intentionality, which is so much more than flowers; it's a consideration of time & space and how they can be mindfully enjoyed. As guests arrange their own take-home floral centerpieces, Drew will highlight folklore & mysticism of each floral ingredient used, drawing inspiration & companionship from just beyond the garden gate. All vessels for arrangements will be provided for the class by the presenters.
